Green Man Pottery

Search the hidden corners of English, French, or German Gothic churches, and you'll often find the Green Man. It's a composite of face and foliage--an image that appears in dozens of forms. Often a face of the Green Man (or Green Woman) is a mask made entirely of leaves; other times the face may be surrounded or transformed by leaves and vines. Typically Green Man figures are carved in stone or wood; they also may be crafted in stained glass or inked in the style of illuminated manuscripts. Click here to check out her Facebook page featuring photos of her pottery!

The Stitch Witch

The Stitch Witch Embroidery Company, Inc. was founded in 2004 by two long time friends, Rebecca Keith and Dave Hummel. Initially our company specialized in embroidery. Currently we offer heat press, screen print, and a new process called sublimation. As vendors, the Irish Festival is one of our favorite events. Since we personally love the Celtic art and music, it is just fun to be a part of the festival. At this year’s event we will stock our booth with many beautifully embroidered Celtic Designs.  We will also offer sublimated gift items such as coasters, mugs, glass cutting boards and aprons just to name a few. We will have something for everyone in the family, including your pet!  We now have a retail location at 1115 Dupont Circle (inside Minute Man Press) in Louisville. Stop and see us soon!

Dayton's Celtic Connection

Maurice White and his wife Betty own Dayton’s Celtic Connection in Dayton, OH. Maurice is a goldsmith making unique Irish jewelry from rings, pendants, and earrings. His favorites are the Newgrange spirals. Newgrange is an ancient burial site whose mysteries are carved in stone. Older than the Pyramids nobody knows the meaning of the scrolls carved into the giant stones. The triple spiral is the most popular of all the scrolls and is commonly referred to as the Triple Goddess. See their creations at irishamericangold.com.
